Entitled Collection un livre – une image (one book one image), this box-object contains the classification plan of more than 30,000 anonymous photographs that will soon join the collections of the the Société française de photographie (SFP). This non-profit, founded in 1854 by a group of amateurs, scientists, and artists, will make this collection created by Emmanuelle Fructus accessible to historians, artists, and researchers. For Emmanuelle Fructus, this artist’s book represents the only link between her work as an artist and that as an iconographer; work conducted since 2006 to build this collection of images.This box-object was designed and created by Laurel Parker Book and Marine Bigourie, in a limited edition of 3 copies.
